What AI travel discovery can — and can't — tell you

AI is great at understanding what you want from a trip. It is not a source of live prices. Here's how we keep the two separate.

Describing a trip in your own words — who's going, what you enjoy, what you'd rather avoid — is something AI handles well. It can turn a paragraph into structured preferences and suggest destinations that fit.

Where AI stops

A language model does not know today's room rates or whether a hotel has a room on your dates. Any tool that implies otherwise is guessing. At Lodging Engine, prices and availability only ever come from booking partners, and we show where each figure came from.

Facts versus explanations

We use AI to explain why a destination or hotel may suit you. Those explanations are only allowed to reference facts we have from reviewed guides or provider data — never invented amenities or ratings.
